Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Accounting Manager to join our client's dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering exceptional financial reporting services. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the accounting functions for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).
- Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate audits and compliance processes.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and controls to enhance service delivery.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and service excellence.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with a strong background in corporate accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the financial services or corporate services sector.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and development.
